Hi all!
Since summer has finally decided to grace us with its presence, I thought it would be fun to share my current swimsuit collection. I always get questions about my bikinis, and that’s probably because everyone knows I have an obsession. It’s okay, I’ll never be tamed. I usually go for suits that have buttery fabrics and no elasticized waists because I find they dig into your sides or bum and they’re just uncomfortable and unflattering. So with that being said, I hope you find this post useful and if you purchase any of these suits I’d love to know!
Just a preface before we get into it, I usually purchase a size M bottom and size S top from basically all brands. Some of my exact suits are also not available anymore on some sites, so I will put in a close replacement for those!
One Pieces
Aerie
This one piece is pretty classic and can double as a bodysuit as well. It has low armholes and a low back and is super comfortable! It’s also on sale right now from Aerie.
Gooseberry Seaside
This one piece is my absolute fav. The material basically acts as a corset and sucks you in, but it’s not uncomfortable and the cut elongates your legs. I find it to be super flattering on almost anyone and it makes the perfect bodysuit as well. My colour (a bright coral/orange) is no longer available, but the one below is close!
Bikinis
Vincija
Literally one of my favourite companies. All the suits are handmade in Australia, shipping is insanely fast, and they fit so so well. Definitely a must-have!
Vitamin A
One can never go wrong with a Vitamin A suit. They’re made of recycled materials and proceeds from each suit go towards helping keep the oceans clean. The top is also on sale! The high-waisted bottoms I have are no longer available in the same cobalt blue from this site, but they’re available here in a different blue-shade. I also have the high-leg California bottom, which is a bit cheekier but a good alternative if you’re not a fan of high-waisted!
Gooseberry Seaside
This bikini is close to the one I have (minus the tie-side bottoms). It’s perfect for working on your tan and the material has a bit of a shimmer to it.
437 Swim
After following this brand for awhile, I finally caved and got a suit. The material is super soft and it fits like a dream. I got the Kenzie top because it can be worn so many different ways, and I got the Aubrey II bottoms for that extra bit of coverage.
Waves & The Wild
I was lucky enough to partner with this lovely Canadian brand to snag their suits before they launched. I loved the way they fit and again, the material was to die for. I have both pictured below: lemon and nautical.
Nora Swim
Nora is such a well-priced place to shop for bikinis and the quality is never compromised. It is my go-to when I’m looking for something to arrive quick, and I know I’ll always love what I get! My striped set is super comfy and the black set featured below I own with a belted-waist and it is so flattering.
Oak & Fort
This was a totally random purchase because Oak & Fort were having such good sales on their suits. I wouldn’t splurge on these, but they’re good to have around as an extra! I had to size up in both the top and bottom because I found them very small.
Myra Swim
Myra is another amazing swim company who makes the most buttery, form-fitting suits in gorgeous colours. My lilac set has lasted me quite some time and it honestly makes it feel like you have nothing on. Same Theon bottoms and Willowtop (different colour) below.
Oldies but Goodies
These are just a few other companies I have suits from that I also love, but they do not have any of the same pieces available anymore. If they do, I will name the styles I have!
Moana Bikini (Adrift bottoms)
Midori Bikinis (Brayden bottom, Cami top)
Plumeria Swim
